A painful tooth is not just an inconvenience. It can mean infected pulp, a cracked tooth, pressure building at the root tip, a failing restoration, or a tooth that is no longer structurally sound. If it is ignored, the problem can turn into swelling, abscess formation, bone loss, repeated flare-ups, or a bigger rebuild later.
That is why we start with the source of the problem, not the symptom. We identify what is inflamed, what is infected, what is fractured, what is still savable, and what should be replaced instead of patched again.
If the tooth can be saved predictably, we focus on cleaning, sealing, protecting, and monitoring it properly. If it cannot be saved in a way that gives you a stable future, we plan the replacement carefully so the implant, crown, gum support, and bite all work together.
You should not have to choose between a root-canal office that does not rebuild missing teeth and an implant office that skips the tooth-saving conversation. At our office, those decisions are made together, with the end result in mind from day one.
If you are dealing with severe toothache, a prior root canal that is acting up again, a cracked tooth, a missing tooth, or multiple failing teeth, the real question is not which procedure sounds familiar. The real question is which path gives you the safest, strongest, and cleanest long-term result.
For some people, that means preserving the natural tooth.
For others, that means extraction with site preservation and implant planning.
For others, especially with multiple failing teeth, that means a fixed full arch solution instead of another cycle of temporary fixes.
When several teeth are missing, loose, infected, or failing at the same time, All-on-4 and All-on-6 dental implants can give you a fixed full-arch replacement instead of another round of patchwork dentistry. At Angela Leung DDS PC – The Endodontics Implant Center, your plan starts with one question: can any teeth be saved predictably, or is a full-arch implant solution the stronger long-term choice?
All-on-4 dental implants use four carefully placed implants to support a full set of fixed replacement teeth. All-on-6 dental implants use six implants for added support when your bone, bite, and treatment goals make that approach more dependable.
If you want teeth that do not come in and out, a bite that feels more stable, and a plan built around your whole mouth not just one missing tooth ask whether All-on-4 or All-on-6 dental implants are right for you.

Hi. This is probably my second experience coming to Dr. Angela and her staff,
and I think they’re a wonderful staff.
They take their time with you.
They get to know a little bit about you. Actually,
I didn’t cry too much this time because I hate needles, and the doctor made me feel relaxed and comfortable.
I won’t refer her to anyone, especially people who hate needles.
Angela Leung, DDS, FICOI, DICOI, Associate Fellow (AAID) leads your care with a rare combination of implant dentistry and endodontic specialty perspective—so treatment decisions don’t default to removing teeth when better options exist.
Credentials:
After your exam and imaging, we provide a written estimate and review options with you.
For full-arch and full-mouth cases, our standard payment structure is:
50% deposit
25% at the start of the prosthetic phase of treatment
remaining balance at delivery of the prosthesis
Both can cause sharp pain, pressure pain, or lingering sensitivity. The right answer depends on where the damage is, whether the tooth can still be sealed and protected, and whether the crack has made the tooth unreliable.
No. Some teeth can be saved very predictably. Others are too cracked, too structurally compromised, or too poorly supported to justify more treatment. We tell you which category your tooth falls into and why.
Sometimes yes. If the tooth is restorable and the reason for failure is fixable, retreatment can be a smart move. If the tooth is fractured or repeatedly breaking down, replacement may be the better long-term decision.
An implant becomes the smarter choice when the tooth cannot be saved in a dependable way, when repeated repair no longer makes sense, or when replacement gives you a more stable bite and better long-term hygiene access.
You may be if many teeth in one arch are missing, failing, loose, or no longer worth rebuilding one by one. Candidacy depends on bone, gum health, medical factors, bite forces, and how much dentistry can still be defended.
Most patients are relieved that the pain leading up to treatment is worse than the treatment itself. We explain the comfort plan, the recovery plan, and the red flags to watch for so you feel prepared.
That depends on the treatment path. A root canal, retreatment, extraction, graft, single implant, and full arch case all heal on different timelines. We map that out before treatment begins so you know the pacing of the case.
